When enquiries slow down, many business owners reach the same conclusion: the marketing agency is not performing, so it is time to change it. Sometimes that is the right call. But often the real problem sits somewhere else, and a new agency will run into the same wall.
Before you decide, look at your data from the last 30 days and find out exactly where things are going wrong.

1. Are you getting reach?
If your ads are not even reaching people, the problem is at the very start. Check your ad spend, whether the ads are actually delivering, and how the campaigns are set up.
2. Reach, but no clicks?
If people see your ads but do not click, your message is not landing. The creative, the headline or the offer is probably weak.
3. Clicks, but no enquiries?
If people click but do not get in touch, look at what happens after the click. Check your landing page, your WhatsApp call to action and any forms you ask people to fill in. Each extra step or unclear instruction loses people.
4. Enquiries, but poor quality?
If enquiries come in but they are not the right customers, the issue is usually targeting, the audience you have chosen, or your positioning.
So, should you change the agency?
Each of these problems has a reason, and most of them can be fixed. Changing your agency makes sense when your marketing costs keep rising and the agency’s performance does not improve once you have found the weak spot.
Build a simple funnel first
Before you change anything, map your marketing as a funnel:
Reach → Clicks → Enquiries → Qualified leads
Put your numbers against each step for the last 30 days. Once you see where the biggest drop happens, you will have clarity on what to fix and who needs to fix it. Reading this data well is what good data analytics is for.
